NOON CARTOON: Young & Jobless in London

Once again via Bloomberg, the sorry state of London’s youth job market.

One thing they all have in common: Prospective employers cannot afford to hire workers who need to be trained—a perennial issue in a stagnant economy.

  1. I'm sorry but I have a bit of a struggle with a college educated young white male saying the welfare system has left him behind. Was not his school highly subsidized or totally paid for? And he goes on camera complaining about being the lost generation left behind? Nigeria please...

    This is the problem of socialism. It just saps ingenuity and assertiveness and creates a sick entitlement attitude.

  2. A degree in history and politics, that sounds like a winner. No interviews with people with marketable skills could it be because they have jobs?
